Under Permissions, click on groups and enter the group(s) you would like to give the permission to create and edit approvals.
Once complete, only users belonging to those groups have the ability to add or update page approvals.

The function resolution of the three button switch is:
- Whether the page can edited in the pending.
- Whether the page can edited after it has been rejected.
- Whether the page can edited after it has been approved.

Instead of wasting valuable time setting this up for each individual approval, use Approval Teams to streamline this for you and group approvers into pre-set teams. You can update an Approval Team at any time.
