in this video we'll show you how to view a team's capacity and get an overview of resources using temple planner so far tailor his planned work for the members of team red flare on the team planning timeline and now she wants to see their capacity to do this she clicks reports in the upper right and selects team capacity capacity is a measure of how much time is planned relative to how much time is available here the red flare team's capacity is displayed for the planned work taylor can see that all our team members are fully committed at 100% for the red flare team for september 7th to 24th the week that she planned now taylor clicks on total to display the total capacity for her team members for beverly and tanya this includes the work that they have planned for team red flare as well as the other teams that they're on Beverly's time shows up in yellow which means that she's over committed for the week because she's also got work planned for another team Robert still at 100% and Tanya is only at 65% which means that she's not fully booked on her other team finally Taylor can check the time available for the team members and sees that Beverly and Robert have no hours available but Tanya has 14 hours available for the week to get a look at how her team's work is planned Taylor opens the tempo menu and selects resource planning under planner this opens the resource planning view which shows all resources in her company to see only her team here she clicks in the filter by field and selects teams then checks red flare she could display the month to get the bigger picture of planned work for the whole month of September but she returns to the weekly view and checks up here that she's displaying the week of September 17th Taylor can see at a glance who's available and who's overbooked Robert is fully committed this week with 8 hours each day so he has green checkmarks to indicate that everything's ok is only committed for six or four hours each day so the yellow progress bars show the relative amount of hours where work is planned Taylor decides that she will plan more work for Tanja so she clicks the little arrow beside her name to view her plans in more detail the first plan is Tanya's work for another team so she won't touch that but she'll click on this plan to open it and increase the time to six hours per day now Tanya has green checkmarks on the days where her time is fully booked for red flare for Beverly the red bars indicate that she's over committed for this week with ten hours per day Taylor takes a look at Beverly's plans and decides to reduce the hours for this issue for the red flare team so that it's only two hours per day now Beverly also has just the right amount of hours for the week so that's how you can use tempo planner to view your resources plans and also to edit them
