In this section, we’ll cover all the configuration settings in Gears Workflow for Confluence from an administrator’s perspective.
Tips
This section can only be configured by a Space Admin.
First we go to the settings page.
Here is the configuration interface, and I will explain the function of each configuration in turn.
Area A:
After closing, the pages within the space will no longer display the page workflow approval status.
Area B:
The Space Admin can configure which users can create or edit approvals within Confluence pages.
Under Permissions, click on groups and enter the group(s) you would like to give the permission to create and edit workflow.
Once complete, only users belonging to those groups have the ability to add or update page workflow.

This feature is required to be available on a non-free plan. You can see Confluence permissions structure
The function resolution of the three button switch is:
- Whether the page can edited in the pending.
- Whether the page can edited after it has been rejected.
- Whether the page can edited after it has been approved.

Area D:
You can alias the approval status name, so that the approval status can be adapted to more scenarios
