之前Atlassian公司提供一个基础的Jira版本，其它的应用场景均通过插件来进行完成，比如用于敏捷的greenhopper（Agile）;
的Jira6及以后，Atlassian根据应用场景，将一些使用较好的插件进行了整合形成了一些特定应用场景的版本；
将Jira定义为一个应用，并将应用各个版本，定义为不同的JIRA application，目前Atlassian推出三个应用场景的版本。
这三个版本的应用场景以及差异，在以下有说明
