Application Overview

Gears Draw for Confluence helps Confluence users create and manage diagrams with greater speed and flexibility. With a rich template library, an intuitive whiteboard, and a smart recent-diagram module, it’s the perfect visual tool for teams that think in diagrams.

Let’s start after installation.

1. Add draw macro into your Confluece page

Type /gears when you editing an Confluence page to add the draw macro.

or add it from the Confluence editor menu by click the icon , and input gears.

2. Select template

3. Draw diagrams and publish

Click Save button to save and Publish, You can also customize diagram name for easier searching later.

Searching for existing  diagram is currently only available for Embed draw macro.

4. Importing a diagram from local file

Download the PNG or DRAW file from other pages and import it.

Notice

No worries, we won't store your data  You'll find the diagram files in the Confluence page attachments.

5. Edit the diagram

Editing the diagram will overwrite and update the attachment.
